Nylon fiber flat braided impregnated with MW microcrystaline fungicidal wax or liquid nylon. Stays flat. Designed to create a wider contact to distribute the stress. Flexible. Won't slip when knotted. Resistant to fungus, flame, abrasion, acids.
MIL-T-43435 (new) supersedes MIL-T-713 (old).
A-A-52080 Type 1, Finish B or G.
Finish B is nylon fiber flat braided lacing tape impregnated with MW microcrystaline fungicidal wax.
Finish G is nylon fiber flat braided lacing tape impregnated with liquid nylon.
Finish G is resistant to oils and other chemicals such as skydol, methanol and Freon.

Available from four materials: Polyethylene, Rulan (flame retardant Polyethylene), Nylon and PTFE. These insulations are easily applied. Per MIL-P-21922B, MIL-I-631D, MIL-P-3803.
