Description: Twisted and cabled fiber glass cordage manufactured in compliance with MIL Y 1140. Both Neoprene (N) coated and Uncoated (U) products are available.
Application: Lacing, tying, banding and wrapping uses in the manufacture of electrical and electronic apparatus. Excellent flame resistance. The neoprene coating serves to protect the fibers, bond the cord into unified member, and improve the handling and knot retention properties.
Construction: Multiple Plies of Twisted Fiber Glass.
Specification: Daburn EC9 Fiberglass Lacing and Tying Cord is per MIL-Y-1140, Form 2 and Class C.
Operating Temperature: +450°C.
Standard Package: Two Pound Tube or Roll with 24 in a case

PTFE (Teflon) coated Fiberglass Flat Braid Lacing Tape manufactured from high tenacity, continuous filament glass yarn coated with Teflon before braiding.Meets specifications A-A-52083 and MIL-T-43435 Type IV. Temperature range to 800°F (427°C).

Available from four materials: Polyethylene, Rulan (flame retardant Polyethylene), Nylon and PTFE. These insulations are easily applied. Per MIL-P-21922B, MIL-I-631D, MIL-P-3803.
