The Polytron MCWA6 Series of single- and dual-output DC-DC converters deliver up to 6 watts of output, accept 2:1 input voltages of 9-18, 18-36 or 36-75 and require no minimum load. Designed for medical and industrial applications, the units provide 5,000V AC input to output 2xMOPP isolation with 8 millimeters of clearance and creepage insulation distance for patient safety. The DC-DC converters also feature 2 µA leakage current, low standby power, a built-in EN55032 Class A EMI filter and an operating altitude of 5,000 meters. Built-in safeguards include overcurrent, overvoltage, short circuit and undervoltage protections. The MCWA6 Series DC-DC converters meet IEC/EN/ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1 and IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 safety standards and comply with RoHS and REACH regulations.
