Medical Applications
MUI50 Series AC-DC power supplies for medical applications deliver up to 50 watts of output power and up to 70 watts peak power for 5 seconds (typ.), while accepting a universal input of 85 to 264V AC. The Isolation Class I and Class II units provide 4,000V AC input to output 2xMOPP insulation for patient safety and satisfy IEC/EN/ANSI/AAMI ES and IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 safety standards. They feature an adjustable output voltage, high efficiency to 92.5 percent, low leakage current, low standby power, an internal EN 55032 Class B filter and an operating altitude of up to 5,000m. Built-in safeguards include overcurrent, over voltage and short circuit protection. MUI50 AC-DC power supplies are available in open-frame (3 x 1.5 x 1.08 inches), enclosed (3.65 x 1.91 x 1.56 inches) and pin-type (2.76 x 1.5 x 1.08 inches) formats, and they comply with RoHS and REACH regulations.
