PTFE (Teflon)
PTFE is a thermoplastic material and fluropolymer that can be used across a wide temperature range of -73°C to 204°C. PTFE is equivalent to the Teflon brand name. It is extremely flexible, as well as, water, oil, chemical, and heat resistant. The mechanical properties of PTFE are low compared to other plastics.
Twisted cables are constructed from our #2451 Daflon Microminiature PTFE hook-up wires. Chemically inert, weather resistant, and non-flammable; and resist soldering irons and moisture. Medical, aircraft, missile, space and compact electronic components.
