“Control Panel System-Request for Proposal"
The UL 508A listed control panel is supplied in a NEMA 12 enclosure
The panel includes circuit breakers for:
- Short circuit protection
- Control circuit transformers with primary and secondary fuses
- Magnetic starters with overload relay for motor protection
- HOA switches with run indication lights for each pump
- Alarms with visual and audible indications.
The Programmable Logic Controller provides automatic operation, including lead/lag pump alternation.
The color touchscreen operator interface (HMI) display includes:
- Compressor run indication
- Accumulated run time
- Vacuum level
- Alarm conditions and alarm history
Also included is access to the operation manual, wiring diagrams, and a maintenance/spare parts list.
The system provides the following audible and visual alarms: (alarms listed are not limited to the following)
- Vacuum transducer failure
- Low vacuum
- Over temperature condition for each pump
- Pump failure
- "Backup in use"
The audible alarm can be acknowledged with the "Silence" button. All controls and alarms will function even if one of the vacuum pumps is shut down for maintenance or repairs.
The system provides dry contacts for remote alarm annunciation or optional connections to BMS systems utilizing BACnet, Modbus and Ethernet.
